Loss Control Solutions, LCS, was acquired by eFunds on April 1, 2004! LCS specializes in software systems for financial services investigators, risk managers, and compliance officers who are burdened with trying to measure and understand losses, improve productivity and maintain compliance with government reporting requirements. Our Investigation Case Management System, ICMS, captures data related to risk and losses, has tools for compliance and detailed financial tracking, and has exceptional reporting capabilities. Unlike other systems ICMS is specific to financial institutions, scalable regardless of asset size, and integrates with other systems to make it an enterprise database solution. Our foundation is based on relationships, and our primary competency is listening to our customers and providing solutions that meet their immediate and future needs. ICMS was initially developed in partnership with the investigations department of a top 20 US bank. Along the way we listened to the needs of other functional areas within our customer organizations including loss prevention, risk management and compliance using their needs as a roadmap for product development. This roadmap has expanded the capability of ICMS to provide the "enterprise solution" for fraud management allowing multiple functional areas to use one technology as their workflow and reporting database. Despite tremendous growth we remain true to our mission of developing functionality based on customer feedback. In 1997 we began hosting an annual user conference where our customers share their "best practice" use of ICMS. From the feedback at this meeting and ongoing discussions with our users, we deliver product enhancements and upgrades to ICMS along with new products desired by our customers. An investment in ICMS is not a product purchase but an investment in a long-term relationship. As part of that relationship we offer services for on site training, conversion of existing data into ICMS, custom designed software and systems integration.
